The kitchen
Our host has spent two decades writing about chefs and restaurants, and it shows: a six-burner Jade Range, a dishwasher, coffee makers for every habit, and a charcoal grill on the terrace.
Living & dining
A living room, family room, reading nook and a formal dining room that seats fourteen. Board games, a library of books and a pellet stove in the family room for cool evenings.

The porch & lawn
The wraparound porch, a garden patio, a hammock under the maples, and a lawn that runs to a shared dock with kayaks, a canoe, a paddleboard and a paddle boat.
