Our Story
More than thirty years of summers on Stissing Lake
Stissing Lake House has been our family's home for more than three decades. Antoinette was married here, and her children were raised here, on these eleven acres at the foot of Stissing Mountain.
It was never meant to be a rental. It's a home, filled with antiques collected over a lifetime and a kitchen built by someone who loves to cook. Opening it to guests is how we keep it in the family, and how we get to share it with yours.

Meet your host
Antoinette Bruno
For two decades, Antoinette has written about food, chefs and restaurants as a journalist at the Brooklyn-based StarChefs. That love of the table shows up everywhere at the house, from the six-burner Jade Range to the long dinners on the lawn.
[Antoinette: add a few lines in your own words. How the family found the house, a favorite tradition, what you hope guests feel when they arrive.]
“Sharing this house and our little slice of heaven with you is a way to keep it in my family.”
